Manchester Modern Music Lessons was founded by professional touring musician Jamie Reynolds, offering high-quality one-to-one guitar and bass tuition in the heart of Manchester.
With over a decade of experience performing across the UK, Europe, the USA, and Australia, Jamie brings a wealth of real-world insight into every lesson. His career includes arena-level shows, televised performances, and appearances at major festivals such as Glastonbury, alongside extensive studio work as a recording musician and producer.
Lessons are tailored to you as an individual, combining technical development, musical understanding, and practical experience. The aim is not just to improve your playing, but to help you feel more confident, creative, and connected to the music you love.

What do you teach?

We teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitars and music production. We can also offer advice and guidance on the technical side of things, whether you’re building an equipment setup for a show or simply learning how to tune a guitar for the first time.
do you provide the instruments?

We can provide the instruments for a small fee per session. This is of course providing the lessons are taking place in person and not online.
are your lessons online or in person?

Both! Just let us know which you would prefer when contacting us. For online lessons, all you require is an internet connection and a camera (laptop, phone, tablet etc).
